, the country’s largest airport-based electronics retailer, announced they have been named the winner of Best Concessions Award, Highest Regard for Customer Service for Large Retailers by Airport Revenue News (ARN).  ������̳ Entertainment Group received this designation at the ARN awards ceremony on March 15, 2018, attended by over 1,000  leaders of the airport and concessionaire industries.

The ARN

The (ARN) began as a newsletter in 1995, but has since evolved into a major news outlet for airport information.  According to their website , “ Airport Revenue News is a multi-channel media resource providing timely coverage and expert perspective on the issues impacting companies doing business in airports. Through its publications and conferences, ARN connects the airport business community with targeted information and access to opportunities in food and beverage, retail, development, duty-free and passenger services.”  ������̳ Entertainment Group proudly operates as a major airport business, and has received the award to recognize contributions in customer service.

The Award

This is the fourth year in a row to win this . ������̳ Entertainment Group was among several prestigious retailers in the category.  Last year, ������̳ Entertainment Group was a finalist for both the Retailer with the Highest Regard for Customer Service as well as the Best Overall Retailer.

In addition to taking home the Best Concessions Award, ������̳ Entertainment Group received industry recognition in several other Large Concession categories of excellence including Best Specialty Retail Brand Operator and Best Overall Retailer.

The process, which began in the fall, involved the entire airport industry in soliciting nominations and then enlisted their help in shortlisting the group to a narrower field of finalists. A committee of industry professionals then voted on the finalists to determine the ultimate winners in each category.  ������̳ Entertainment Group, along with other winners will be featured in the April 2018 issue of Airport Revenue News.
